Dr. Clifford G. Cummings, Veterinarian Dr. Cummings is the Hospital Director, he founded Cummings Veterinary Hospital in 2004 after 25 years of being the senior partner and Hospital Director of Northside Animal Hospital. He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University. Dr. Cummings is an active member of the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania and the American Veterinary Medical Associations. He has served on various professional committees and has held the office of President of the Lehigh Valley and Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Associations. Dr. Cummings received the Practitioner Service Award from the American Animal Hospital Association in 1995 and the Veterinarian of the Year Award from the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association in 1997. His particular interests are internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry and soft tissue surgery. He lives in Bethlehem with his wife, Jane, a Doberman named Charlee and a cat named Harold. They have two sons, former Marines, and six grandchildren.

Dr. Beth Nelms grew up in Lancaster County, PA.  She attended Cornell University in Ithaca, NY and graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science.  She then attended and graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine in 2005 with a Masters of Science degree in Laboratory Animal Science.  She attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.  Her veterinary interests include dermatology and surgery. In her free time, Dr. Nelms enjoys shopping, swimming, and playing miniature golf.  Dr. Nelms shares her life with her significant other, Elbert, a human physician, and her pug, Ellie.  Dr. Nelms is very excited to be at Cummings Veterinary Hospital and looks forward to seeing your beloved pets.
